Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on setup and operation of manual mills and lathes.
• Proficiency with precision metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges).
• Ability to read blueprints and verify tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to machine stainless and other metals.
• Use micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and gauges with precision tolerances.
• Read/interpret blueprints and identify drawing errors; suggest corrections.
• Sweep in mill heads/vises; compensate for runout on lathes.
• Set up jobs with or without documentation; optimize feeds/speeds and tooling.
