Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in fabrication, sheet metal, laser-cut, turret-punched, or assembly environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
• Inspect sheet metal components, laser-cut parts, turret-punched parts, assemblies, and finished products.
• Complete inspection reports, quality records, and traceability documentation.
• Review material certifications, certificates of conformity, and supplier documentation.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials and products.
• Support containment and corrective action activities.
• Verify calibration status of inspection equipment before use.
