Job summary

A precast concrete manufacturer in Vineland, NJ, is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join its Embed Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal embeds, requiring precision and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have proficiency in various welding techniques, experience with fabrication tools, and the ability to read blueprints. Competitive compensation is offered at $20.00 – $28.00 hourly, based on experience along with benefits including health insurance and a 401(K) plan.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG, stick, or flux-core welding based on project requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience operating fabrication tools and machines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools and equipment for safety before each use.
• Measure and mark metal parts for cutting and welding.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as ironworkers and bandsaws.
• Weld components according to blueprints with correct alignment.
• Assemble and verify quality of metal embeds.
