Job summary

A leading technology firm in Ames, Iowa is looking for an individual to perform assembly of mechanical, electronic, and cable components. Responsibilities include following assembly instructions, performing quality checks, and maintaining organization. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and be comfortable with hand tools and basic computer tasks. This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a team-oriented environment while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (summer students must be at least 16 years old).

• Ability to work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Build small mechanical, electronic &/or cable assemblies to WMHA standards.
• Perform testing processes for component functionality.
• Use hand tools and/or semi-automated equipment.
