Job summary

Molex in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on manufacturing associate to operate production equipment, load materials, monitor performance, and maintain traceability to AS9100, ITAR/DFARS, and customer requirements. You will follow engineering drawings, apply IPC techniques, and support continuous improvements on the line.

You will work with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues, participate in Lean/Kaizen, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience, electronics preferred.
• Able to read and follow engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions; basic measurement skills.
• Eligible to work on ITAR-controlled programs and pass background checks.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30-50 lbs per site policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and manufacturing equipment per work instructions.
• Load materials, monitor machine performance, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain traceability and documentation meeting AS9100/ITAR/DFARS requirements.
• Apply crimp, solder, splice, potting, and conformal coating techniques.
• Use inspection methods to verify quality and support corrective actions with Quality.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen activities to improve output and reduce defects.
• Communicate with Leads, Engineers, and Inspectors to address issues and train teammates.
