Job summary

Kistler Instrument Corporation is seeking a Production Technician in Buffalo, NY to assemble, test, calibrate, and inspect our high-precision transducer products. You will follow strict work instructions and quality standards while using microscopes and small-parts handling tools in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

The role offers hands-on manufacturing exposure, opportunity to work with soldering and calibration processes, and the chance to contribute to global measurement technology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Comfortable handling small parts and precision tools.
• Willingness to work with microscopes for extended periods.
• U.S. Person per ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test products according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Handle small precision components using hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes.
• Perform soldering, mechanical fastening, and adhesive bonding.
• Operate manufacturing and testing equipment to support daily production.
• Conduct inspections, functional testing, and calibrations.
• Set up and operate equipment to assemble, test, and calibrate transducers, including welders, bead blasters, shakers, oscilloscopes.
• Identify and communicate quality issues or equipment concerns to maintain production standards.
