Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 for the Salt Lake City, UT area. The role requires the ability to assemble precision electromechanical products and work with small, fine-pitched parts using microscopes and precision tools.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of mechanical assembly experience, soldering skills, experience with micro components, and the ability to work on 2nd shift.

• Experience in mechanical assembly of small, fine-pitched parts.
• Soldering certification or experience preferred.
• Experience using a microscope and working with shock-sensitive devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision electromechanical products.
• Perform drilling, reaming, burnishing and tapping while ensuring tolerance.
• Assemble, disassemble, repair and reassemble precision assemblies and correct malfunctions.
• Monitor and verify quality per process control procedures.
• May assemble prototype precision units for engineering personnel.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
