Job summary

ASR International Corp in Minden, NV is seeking a contractor Electronic Assembler to build and wire electrical control cabinets and panels from engineering drawings. You will install components, interpret wiring diagrams, and ensure quality and safety throughout assembly.

Strong attention to detail and comfort with hand and power tools are required. The role offers day or second shift options with contract duration up to 12 months, onsite work in a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Electrical Equipment / Panel Building Switchgear, MCC panels, control cabinets preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices.
• Experience with industrial control panels or electrical cabinet assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control cabinets and panels according to engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Install components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following safety protocols.
• Interpret engineering drawings accurately to avoid misreads and rework.
• Perform complex wiring tasks with precision in routing and labeling wires.
• Ensure correct placement of relays, breakers, and terminal blocks and maintain high quality standards.
