Job summary

Voeller Mixers is seeking a skilled Drill Press Operator to accurately drill, ream, tap, countersink, and counterbore holes to print specifications. You will set up radial arm and upright drill presses, select tooling, and verify part accuracy with calipers and micrometers.

The role requires reading work orders and blueprints, performing daily operator maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing shop environment in Port Washington, WI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience operating drill presses preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and callouts, dimensions and tolerances.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and shop math.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and material specs.
• Set up and operate drill presses to drill, ream, tap, countersink, counterbore holes.
• Lay out hole locations and select tooling with proper speeds/feeds.
• Secure workpieces with vises/clamps and verify accuracy with gauges.
• Perform daily maintenance and report issues; follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and fabrication teams on priorities.
