Job summary

Hubbard Construction Company is seeking a Dozer Operator to safely operate heavy equipment on outdoor job sites in Florida. The role requires clear communication with foremen and crew and a minimum of three years of experience in dozer operations.

The operator will perform daily equipment maintenance, follow safety protocols, and assist with grading and site preparation on complex projects. This position is full-time and outdoor-based, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience.
• Able to understand work directions and communicate with visitors, job site supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dozer in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Understand, interpret and follow directions from foreman and other supervisors.
• Operate dozer controls to regulate height and angle of the dozer blade and lower scraper to loosen packed soil to permit grading.
• Use the dozer to level soil, move rock and debris, and scoop soil.
• Other duties as assigned.
