Job summary

MGS Mfg. Group in Richfield, WI is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage and ensure accuracy of company documents. The role supports batch records, CoA preparation, and data retrieval while upholding GMP, GDP, and QMS standards.

You will maintain filing systems, assist in CAPAs and audits, and back up the Document & Data Control Coordinator as needed. This position emphasizes accuracy, independence, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of experience and/or training.
• Experience in working with a team.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time well.
• Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Self-directed, able to work independently and highly motivated.
• Quality Control/Assurance knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP and GDP and company safety rules.
• Maintain and file batch records in compliance with GMP and internal procedures.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) accurately and timely.
• Review production batch records and data for completeness and quality.
• Organize and manage product documentation, PMR/PHR, and batch records.
• Process document change requests and support CAPAs as needed.
• Assist in audits and serve as backup to the Document & Data Control Coordinator.
