Job summary

Horst Engineering & Manufacturing Company in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Full Time Deburring Technician to finish and deburr precision components per blueprints and operation sheets. You will perform set-ups on deburring equipment, verify dimensions with micrometers, Vernier, and other gauges, and ensure parts meet blueprints and quality standards.

• Ability to read operation sheets/blueprints and specifications.
• Quality minded with willingness to cross train in other areas.
• One year plus experience in a machine shop or deburring environment.

Responsibilities

• Finish and deburr components from blueprints and travelers.
• Perform minor set-ups on deburring equipment and obtain tooling and materials.
• Deburr, polish, tumbling, and square edges to blueprint specs.
• Measure parts with micrometers and other gauges and verify dimensions.
• Notify supervisor of shortages or problems and keep area clean.
