Job summary

Technetics Semi is seeking a Deburr Technician / Material Handler to finish, clean, handle, and move materials and parts throughout the manufacturing process. You will deburr, blend, polish, inspect, and operate CNC saws and laser marking equipment in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, air tools, and precision measuring instruments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and policies.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience; on the job training may be utilized.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring, blending, polishing, inspection, material handling, CNC saw operation, laser marking, and part cleaning.
• Operate forklifts to move materials and parts throughout the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Transport completed parts to the next operation.
• Package parts for outside processing and shipment.
• Inspect metal parts for defects including burrs, scratches, dents, and other imperfections.
• Deburr, blend, grind, file, sand, and polish parts to specified requirements.
• Scribe parts and blend surfaces to scribed lines.
• Perform self-inspections to verify quality requirements are met.
• Set up and operate CNC saws to cut raw material for production.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC saw equipment.
• Set up and operate laser marking equipment.
• Clean parts in a controlled clean-room environment using approved chemicals and procedures.
• Operate tumbling equipment for part finishing and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
