Job summary

EPIC Piping is seeking a skilled cutter operator to operate cutting machines and process orders according to specifications. You will set up equipment, perform line clearances, and ensure daily production aligns with schedules while maintaining safety standards.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and 1+ year in a related role. You will inspect work in progress, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with management to drive quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience may substitute education.
• 1+ years of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders to determine work assignments and production schedules.
• Review job tickets for information and material accuracy before production runs.
• Set up and operate cutter for production runs.
• Perform line clearances.
• Perform in-process inspections of cutting operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on cutter as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair cutter when required.
• Monitor equipment operations, gauges, and panel lights for deviations.
• Work with management on quality and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as needed.
