Job summary

KI Lumber & Building Materials, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Custom Millworker I in Kentucky. The role focuses on fabricating and assembling millwork components by interpreting blueprints, measuring precisely, and using a range of hand tools and machinery.

You will load, stock, and organize materials, install fixtures, and maintain a safe, clean work area while supporting production with attention to detail and quality. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent work experience required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or certificate in Carpentry preferred.
• Experience in trim carpentry or millwork fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, or production tickets to determine required materials and fabrication methods.
• Accurately measure, calculate, and fabricate millwork components such as trim, cabinetry, doors, and windows.
• Assemble and secure materials to construct frameworks or components using hand tools and fasteners.
• Install finished structures and fixtures, including windows, frames, flooring, and cabinetry using carpentry tools and machinery.
• Maintain and organize the work area and stock parts for setup.
• Monitor production workflow and assist other areas as needed.
• Operate equipment necessary for the assembly process while adhering to safety procedures.
