Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a Crating Specialist in Poestenkill, NY. You will read and interpret assembly prints to build equipment and packaging, ensuring accurate crating and safe shipping.

You will collaborate with Service Engineering to troubleshoot issues and with Engineering/Production to improve part designs and manufacturability. The role requires 3–5 years hands-on experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to read/write English.

Qualifications

• Reading and following assembly drawings and work orders for crating and machine packaging.
• Reading and following assembly drawings for all assembly work.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly drawings and ability to use specialized hand tools.
• Must be able to read/write English proficiently.
