This full-time role requires reading work instructions, measuring with calipers/micrometers, and maintaining safety standards in a loud metal fabrication environment.

Responsibilities include setup of tooling, inspection of parts, and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing or machine-operation experience.
Ability to read work instructions and use measuring tools.
Experience with copper tubing or soft metals preferred.
Lean manufacturing or 5S familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate tube expansion machinery to expand copper tubing to required diameters and tolerances.
Set up tooling, dies, and mandrels per work orders and specifications.
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
Identify defects such as splits, cracks, or out-of-tolerance expansions.
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Complete required production and quality documentation.
