Tribal 1 Construction in Rapid City, SD seeks a detail-oriented Hardened Concrete Tester to perform tests on hardened concrete samples and ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards. The role requires experience with concrete testing and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with compressive strength testing, density measurements, and related procedures, with knowledge of ACI/ASTM standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction materials or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in concrete testing and familiarity with relevant industry standards (ACI, ASTM).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements and tests.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Certification in concrete testing (e.g., ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tests on hardened concrete samples, including compressive strength, density, and other properties.
• Collect and prepare concrete samples for testing according to industry standards and project requirements.
• Document and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure quality control and compliance.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory and on-site.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to concrete quality.
