Job summary

Penhall Company in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Experienced Concrete Cutter for a full-time role. You will cut, saw, core drill, and demolish concrete on diverse sites, with safety and quality at the forefront.

The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500. Two years of relevant experience and proficiency with wall saws, slab saws, diamond tools, and related equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in concrete cutting and related services.
• Proficiency operating wall saws, slab saws, core drills, wire saws, hand saws, and diamond cutter tools.
• Experience performing precision cutting in commercial/industrial environments with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete demolition tasks including cutting, sawing, core drilling, and removing concrete using specialized equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation and readiness for jobs.
• Enter hours and notes using a tablet/phone app, and mentor trainees to develop skills.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies; communicate with team to meet project goals.
• Work in varying conditions (rain, cold, heat) while maintaining productivity and safety.
