Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Automotive industry experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be flexible with task assignments and shop needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Detail and thoroughly clean vehicles prior to final delivery.
• Visually inspect vehicles for flaws; report defects to supervisor.
• Assist in general maintenance of the shop location and grounds.
• Inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning.
• Wear safety gear and follow hazardous waste disposal rules.
• Keep tools and workspace organized and return items to proper places.
• Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Perform cleaning tasks (mopping, dusting, sweeping, trash) and restroom upkeep.
• Make minor repairs, such as changing a light bulb.
