Job summary

Atterro in Villard, MN is seeking a CNC Programmer to set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce precision components. You will read blueprints, write programs, and ensure quality with precision measuring tools.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC programming experience and familiarity with G-code and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks). Standard schedule is 6:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Thursday in a modern manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in G-code and CAM software.
• Experience with tool setup and machine operation.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret machining instructions from complex blueprints, part, and machine drawings.
• Set up all tooling, write, and execute complex programs.
• Operate and program a wide range of production work.
• Inspect machine parts using micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and quality audits within the machine shop department.
• Independently write programs as required.
• Assist in other areas and perform additional tasks as needed.
