Job summary

Addison HVAC in Orlando, FL is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Pipe Bender Operator to join our HVAC manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC bending machines to shape copper piping used in heating and cooling units, ensuring pipes meet blueprints and maintain structural integrity.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of CNC bending experience with thin-wall copper tubing and a solid grasp of GD&T, calipers, and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years' experience operating CNC tube/pipe bending equipment.
• Experience with copper tubing in HVAC context preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient in using calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC bending machinery to form copper tubing per drawings.
• Select tooling and set up mandrels, dies for correct wall thickness.
• Read blueprints and bend data cards to specification.
• Inspect bent pipes for wrinkles, kinks, wall-thinning.
• Maintain safety and 5S housekeeping and adhere to PPE guidelines.
• Meet daily production quotas while minimizing scrap.
