Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of tooling and saw blades.
• Ability to identify materials and select appropriate tooling.
• Strong knowledge of panel products, solid wood, metals and plastics.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Identify waste to save or discard.
• Achieve square, straight and defect-free edges.
• Cut straight and square panels accurately.
• Change tools quickly and safely.
• Strong math skills: fractions, decimals, imperial/metric.
• Stay organized and manage tasks efficiently.
• Understand process flow and milling order.
• Maximize material yield through proper milling.
• Store materials safely and protect them during transport.
• Familiar with project plans and timelines.
• Communicate daily progress and flag issues.
• Cut complex angles on various machines.
• Mill using CNC, sliding table saw, table saw, and miter saw.

Responsibilities
