TapeMaster LLC in Shelby Township, MI is seeking a Mill Operator/Machinist to support CNC milling operations at the Troy, MI facility. The role involves 3-axis CNC setups, precision machining, and quality verification on Haas and Okuma mills.

You will set up, troubleshoot, and optimize processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mill setup/operating, experience with aerospace/automotive parts, and familiarity with GD&T and AS9100/ISO

Qualifikationen

• Five (5) years or more of experience in mill setup/operating.
• Trunnion and rotary setup experience preferred but not required.
• Experience running aerospace and automotive parts (tight tolerances) preferred.
• Mastercam programming experience preferred but not required.
• OSHA-10 or -30 preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform independent machine setups including fixtures, tooling, offsets, probing, and validation on Haas and Okuma mills per set up sheets.
• Operate CNC mills to produce precision components and adjust controls as needed.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other gauges; verify tolerances.
• Document results, support NCR investigations, and participate in continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety standards and update weekly machine maintenance log.
