Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNC certificate from an accredited school or program.
• Minimum of 2 years working in related field.
• Preferably knowledge of Okuma or related CNC Programable mills and lathes.
• Math skills including trigonometry.
• Able to interpret blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot programs and/or any tooling problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity.
• Setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling changes.
• Make edit changes on existing programs.
• Install tooling and setup CNC machines as needed.
• Make offset changes on CNC equipment.
• Start-up Inspection of equipment and tools.
• Proficient use of calibrated measuring tools.
• Work cohesively within a team environment.
• Complete thorough quality production documents.
• Maintain work area clean with 5S.
