Candidates must have a high school diploma, CNC certification, and at least two years of relevant experience. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
CNC certificate from an accredited school or program.
Minimum of 2 years working in related field.
Preferably knowledge of Okuma or related CNC Programable mills and lathes.
Math skills including trigonometry.
Able to interpret blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to troubleshoot programs and/or any tooling problems.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathes and mills with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity.
Setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling changes.
Make edit changes on existing programs.
Install tooling and setup CNC machines as needed.
Make offset changes on CNC equipment.
Start-up Inspection of equipment and tools.
Proficient use of calibrated measuring tools.
Work cohesively within a team environment.
Complete thorough quality production documents.
Maintain work area clean with 5S.
