Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring CNC Machinists in Chesapeake, OH. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components. CAD familiarity helps with part review during setup.

The position offers hands-on experience with advanced equipment, a plan of professional growth, and a temp-to-hire path. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with full-time benefits after conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining or manufacturing is preferred; entry‑level welcome.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.
• Strong math basics and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to ensure accuracy.
• Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM to verify tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Select and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance.
• Conduct quality checks during production to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes using lean principles.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols.
• Assist with assembly or material handling tasks as needed.
