Job summary

Wise Staffing Group in the United States (Kentucky) is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, modify, and maintain CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts. You will read blueprints, perform machine setups, and inspect finished parts with precision tools.

The ideal candidate has experience with Haas and Makino machines, can troubleshoot issues, maintain quality records, follow safety procedures, and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling and lathe machines (Haas/Makino) is required.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and perform machine setups for production runs.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Change tooling and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
