Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Machinist for the 3rd shift to operate CNC and manual machines, producing high-quality components. The role requires reading blueprints, applying GD&T, and maintaining tight tolerances with precision measuring tools.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a trade certificate in machining. Entry-level candidates are welcome; experience with CNC/manual machinery is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A trade school certificate or specialized machining education is preferred.
• Previous experience operating CNC and/or manual machinery is valued but not required for entry-level roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to fabricate or repair precision components.
• Analyze blueprints and work orders to determine setups and machining sequences.
• Apply GD&T to ensure product conformity and inspect parts with precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain accurate inspection and production records and communicate with the team to meet priorities.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards and operate overhead cranes as needed.
