Job summary

R&B Grinding Co., Inc. in Racine, WI is seeking a CNC Machinist to load and unload materials, respond to machine malfunctions, and ensure ISO safety compliance. Qualifications

• Pass required Company prescreening assessments.
• Read gauges and tools; problem solving.
• Prior CNC machining background; CNC training desirable.
• Lift up to 40 pounds; standing for long periods.
• Fanuc or Mazak controls knowledge is a plus.
• Flexibility for overtime hours as production demands.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials in CNC machinery; respond to machine malfunctions; follow ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Maintain part specifications by turning, facing, drilling, boring, grooving, threading and milling; measure and adjust with tools; replace worn tooling; follow QA procedures.
• Use precision gauges; read inspection documents; record irregularities; determine part quality; set tool wear offsets; use deburring tools when needed.
• Perform repetitive work; coordinate workload in multiple CNC cells; conduct routine equipment cleaning and light maintenance.
• Recognize and deploy proper work holding, precision tooling and inserts; understand and implement machine adjustments and tool wear offsets.
• Interpret quality requirements; meet tolerance with gauges; participate in lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
