Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems-Heavy Equipment Group in Rhinelander, WI seeks a CNC Lathe Machinist to adjust and machine small complex weldments with high precision on a CNC Lathe. Read drawings, set up tooling, and meet routed hours while ensuring quality and accuracy across sizes and dimensions.

The ideal candidate has basic M&G code, blueprint reading, and machining knowledge; experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and high-temp alloys is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic M&G Code, blueprint reading, and math skills are a plus.
• Machining knowledge in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Completion of Machining program is a plus.
• Experience with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic, and high-temperature alloys is a plus.
• Experience setting up and using quality gauging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conversational programming on a Mazak machine.
• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing.
• Work from advanced drawings and job layouts.
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with high quality using Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high-temperature alloys.
• Produce parts efficiently within print/contract details.
• Operate overhead crane and rigging.
• Set up tooling using machine setup documentation.
• Use drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
