Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a dedicated Cell Operator in La Porte, CA to set up, program, and operate CNC and gear hobbing equipment producing precision components. You will use FANUC controls, G and M codes, and blueprints to ensure parts meet strict specifications.

Responsibilities include multi-machine operation, measurement validation, and adherence to quality policies. The role requires teamwork and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and machining instructions.
• Operate and program CNC/generator equipment using G/M codes.
• Work with FANUC controls for setup and speed optimization.
• Capable of multi-machine operation and measurement validation.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and gauging for tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Performs CNC machine setup and operation to meet production specs.
• Program hob and gear operations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Validate parts with micrometers and gear checkers; document results.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to quality policies.
• Read work instructions and ensure prints meet engineered drawings.
