Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC brake presses.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to calculate bend allowances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Solid math skills, mechanical aptitude, and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine bend allowances and production specs.
• Select, set up, and adjust proper punch and die tooling for each job.
• Set up and operate CNC controlled brake presses for standard orders and prototype runs.
• Write set-up sheets and utilize advanced programming functions.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure exact quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
