Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Brake Press Operator to turn metal into precision components using CNC brake presses. You will read blueprints and CAD drawings to define bend sequences and tooling, and ensure parts meet exact specifications with tight tolerances.

You will operate equipment, perform in-process quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following all safety procedures. This role supports Modine’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years CNC Brake Press experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Understanding of measurements, angles, tolerances, and shop math.
• Ability to inspect parts using measuring tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC brake press equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings to determine bend sequences and specs.
• Select tooling and machine settings to achieve required angles and dimensions.
• Form parts to tight tolerances with ±0.3 degrees accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using measurement tools and perform in-process checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
