Job summary

SLPT is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Technician to support our manufacturing quality operations. You will program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS, perform dimensional inspections, and develop measurement programs aligned with customer and production requirements.

You will contribute to product quality and process improvements across the facility. The role requires reading engineering drawings, GD&T understanding, and strong mathematical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
• Knowledge of PC-DMIS 2017R1 programming.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (GD&T familiarity).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS.
• Perform dimensional layouts and inspections based on drawings.
• Load and fixture components for inspection activities.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and SPC documentation.
• Record, analyze, and communicate inspection results.
• Support kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
