Job summary

Major Tool & Machine in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Clean Room Assembly Technician (Assembler – Clean Room). The role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments to assemble components in a clean room environment.

You will read blueprints and routing instructions, install thread inserts and fasteners, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment required.
• Trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-clean room wash operations per procedures.
• Perform complex assembly using tools in a clean room environment.
• Read blueprints and routing instructions to determine tolerances.
• Use torque wrenches and apply correct torque methods.
• Use precision measuring instruments.
• Install thread inserts and fasteners.
• Operate and troubleshoot assembly equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work area.
• Coordinate with supervisor for instructions.
