Job summary

Jabil is seeking an entry-level assembler to manually place parts on circuit boards in accordance with detailed workmanship standards. The role involves following instructions, assembling components, inspecting placements, and using barcode scanners and small tools in a clean manufacturing area.

Work will be performed under direct supervision with a focus on 5S organization and safety. Applicants should be comfortable reading visual aids and performing basic arithmetic as part of everyday tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly present information to managers and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC with Windows-based software and related tools.
• Advanced PC skills including basic software use relevant to manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read simple instructions and visual aids.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and measurements as needed.
• Ability to work with standardized processes with minimal variables.

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal or written instructions including visual aids.
• Perform basic, standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations and labeling.
• Prepare and assemble inserted components per visual aids.
• Visually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement.
• Utilize barcode scanner and hand tools.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the area.
• Restock parts bins and monitor progress reports.
• Work under supervision of Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
