Job summary

GSM Outdoors is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our Finance team in Irving, TX. You will post customer payments, apply to invoices, maintain AR records, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate cash flow.

The role requires strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions while collaborating with Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable or cash application preferred.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
• Apply customer payments to invoices and accounts.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate AR records and reconcile balances.
• Prepare and maintain reports related to cash application and AR activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues.
