Job summary

Verano is seeking a Packaging Specialist to provide on-site support within our cannabis cultivation facility. You will weigh, pack, label, and responsibly handle cannabis products for shipment to retail dispensaries, while maintaining quality controls and safety standards.

You will operate packaging equipment, document activity, and assist other teams to meet production goals. The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related packaging/production experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn, operate, and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Able to sit/stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 25 lb.
• Authorized to work in the United States; 21+ for state registration.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
• Safely operate packaging equipment such as flow wrap and heat-sealers.
• Collect samples for QA testing as needed.
• Transport completed products to the vault.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and SOP adherence.
• Document activity using track and trace system.
• Inspect finished goods for defects and inform QA.
• Support cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed.
