Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a qualified Electronics Test Equipment Technician to perform testing, calibration, diagnosis, and repair of electronic and electromechanical test equipment in a manufacturing and standards lab setting. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of metrology experience, ability to follow calibration manuals and engineering drawings, pass tests, and obtain a U.S.

secret clearance and ATF access.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in operation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electronic/electromechanical test equipment in a manufacturing or standards lab.
• Experience following calibration manuals, design drawings, sketches, handbooks, and engineering specifications.
• Ability to use NIST specifications in job duties.
• Must pass qualifying and/or practical test.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain ATF clearance.

Responsibilities

• Initial and periodic testing, calibration and certification of test equipment before use in testing other instruments.
• Diagnosis, repair, and modification of electronic/electromechanical test equipment.
• Willingness to work any designated shift, including overnight.
