Job summary

MQC in Frederick, CO is seeking a skilled calibration technician to advance the calibration program. You'll calibrate and troubleshoot equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, pressure, temperature, humidity, and oscilloscopes, and issue calibration certificates.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with DoD/PMEL backgrounds preferred.

Qualifications

• Calibration experience across electrical, temperature, torque, and dimensional calibration.
• Life Sciences, DoD, PMEL, or military calibration background preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and error-free work.
• Strong organization, computer and time management skills.
• Excellent communication for team interaction and client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and troubleshoot test equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, pressure, temperature, humidity, torque, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
• Issue and review calibration certificates.
• Manage data entry and monitor orders.
• Assist with inventory control and customer service communication.
• Perform office duties, maintain lab cleanliness, and support workflow.
• Assist in electrical equipment calibration and testing under supervision.
• Prepare technical reports and other documentation.
• Handle additional assigned duties.
