Job summary

QuinStar Technology, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate and verify a broad range of Metrology & Test Equipment.

You will manage calibration data, perform repairs, and coordinate service with providers while supporting vibration tests and TVAC operations. The role requires strong knowledge of calibration principles and electrical theory, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet U.S. export control requirements (US Person).
• 2+ years calibrating mechanical, electrical, RF/microwave MTE.
• Knowledge of calibration principles.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory.
• Basic algebra and math skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and verify MTE such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters.
• Maintain inventory and calibration history in database.
• Analyze out-of-tolerance results and perform impact analyses.
• Issue calibration recall reports and coordinate service leaves.
• Troubleshoot and repair MTE; perform soldering as needed.
• Coordinate external service providers for repairs/calibration.
• Retrieval and return of MTE within company for calibration.
• Conduct vibration testing and operate TVAC with LN2 service.
• Uphold and implement the ESD control plan; certify ESD elements.
• Assist in improving test procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support audits and QA initiatives in calibration and environmental testing.
• Maintain organized calibration laboratory.
