Job summary

Adams Group is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to run woodworking equipment for cabinetry, millwork, and solid surface components. You will set up saws, routers, edge banders, and CNC machines, read shop drawings, and produce precise parts in a fast-paced shop.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience, the ability to lift 75 lbs, and a solid eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating woodworking or CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production documents.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with shop tools and machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking machines such as saws, routers, edge banders, and CNC machines to cut and shape cabinet components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and blueprints to determine setup and production needs.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with safety standards.
• Assist with material movement through production and support field installations as needed.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Comply with safety policies, PPE, and OSHA regulations.
