Job summary

N. Wasserstrom is seeking a Brake Press Operator to set up and operate shop machinery, fabricating parts for metal or wood products. You will read specifications, follow instructions, and work in a team on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities include loading materials, performing basic machine maintenance, maintaining organization, and ensuring quality through measurement and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Capable of working with shop machinery and basic hand tools.
• Detail oriented and committed to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate shop machinery to fabricate parts and products.
• Load/unload materials onto machines.
• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Check work through measuring tools and quality control procedures.
• Work with build documents and basic drawings.
