Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-3 years related experience in assembly.
• Ability to read simple instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and assembles complete bearings by matching component parts using various gages to check component parts or bearings for conformance to job specifications.
• Cleans components and bearings using methods specified.
• Must be able to perform but not limited to: taping, deburring, sandblasting, all bench operations and performing quality checks.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Prepare, cut, and/or assemble self-lubricated liner system.
• Incumbent is responsible for cleaning the area he/she is working in before completing the shift and/or prior to moving to another area for proper housekeeping.
