Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Bagger/Operator to perform pre-shift safety inspections, operate production equipment, and manage daily production reporting. The role includes equipment care, maintenance coordination, and adherence to loading/shipping procedures in a full-time on-site environment.

You will conduct sampling for quality control, document downtime, and support maintenance needs while ensuring safe, efficient operations in all weather conditions. Employment is full-time with AAEOE compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing pre-shift safety inspections and reporting.
• Ability to operate multiple production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Capable of assisting with maintenance work orders and equipment care.

Responsibilities

• Perform all pre-shift and safety inspections of assigned equipment and complete daily inspection reports.
• Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner and oversee start-up, continual operation and shutdown.
• Make operating adjustments to achieve quality and productivity targets.
• Complete daily production reports with accurate downtime documentation.
• Care for equipment including changing mica screens and other checks as needed.
• Report equipment condition and maintenance needs to supervisor and prepare maintenance work orders.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and maintain good working condition.
• Conduct finished product sampling and in-process quality control.
• Load customer trucks according to loading and shipping procedures.
