Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians in the Winchester, VA area. Technicians use advanced equipment to align tires, measure caster/camber/toe angles and perform inspections, oil changes and minor repairs to ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of tire-related experience or training, be legally eligible to work in the United States, and may need a state inspection license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires, or equivalent education/training.
• State inspection license preferred.
• Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching and lifting over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as part of service.
• Perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.
