Job summary

Defender Auto Glass is hiring an Auto Glass Technician to install, repair, and replace automotive glass with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role includes using provided tools, company vehicle, and a standard 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has two+ years in the auto glass industry, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

Two years of auto glass industry experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

Inspect and assess damaged auto glass to determine repair or replacement.
Remove damaged windshields, side, and rear windows using proper tools and safety protocols.
Accurately install replacement glass using urethane adhesive and ensure proper fit and seal.
Repair small chips and cracks to prevent further damage and maintain structural integrity.
Explain procedures and recommendations to customers, ensuring they understand the work performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure customer and team safety.
Maintain a safe driving record according to company policy.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
