Job summary

Defender Auto Glass is hiring an Auto Glass Technician to install, repair, and replace automotive glass with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role includes using provided tools, company vehicle, and a standard 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has two+ years in the auto glass industry, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Two years of auto glass industry experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess damaged auto glass to determine repair or replacement.
• Remove damaged windshields, side, and rear windows using proper tools and safety protocols.
• Accurately install replacement glass using urethane adhesive and ensure proper fit and seal.
• Repair small chips and cracks to prevent further damage and maintain structural integrity.
• Explain procedures and recommendations to customers, ensuring they understand the work performed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure customer and team safety.
• Maintain a safe driving record according to company policy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
