Job summary

Pick Your Part in Charlotte, NC seeks a Dismantler to remove high-value auto parts, including hybrid batteries and catalytic converters, safely and efficiently. You will stage cores for pickups, assist customers at counters, and may operate a forklift to load trucks.

This role requires hands-on auto repair experience, basic math and computer skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Training will be provided; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on automotive repair experience.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must complete required training.
• Necessary tools provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and remove hybrid batteries, catalytic converters, airbags and other parts efficiently from vehicles in a safety conscious manner.
• Stage high value cores/parts for vendor or customer pickups.
• Respond to customer countersales by receiving order, pulling product and taking to sales counter.
• May be required to operate forklift and load trucks.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
