Job summary

Getsw is seeking an Automotive Body/Paint Technician to restore and refinish vehicle surfaces to manufacturer standards. The role blends precision bodywork with expert refinishing to bring vehicles back to pre-damage condition.

The candidate will perform body repairs, sand and prep surfaces, apply primers and coatings, and ensure high-quality cosmetic results. A customer-first attitude and adherence to safety policies are essential, with on-site work in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years automotive body/paint experience.
• Knowledge of repair, refinishing, and surface preparation techniques.
• Detail-oriented with strong workmanship.
• Problem-solving, judgment and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
• U.S. work eligibility.
• Awareness of safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to assess body and paint damage and plan repairs.
• Perform body repairs, dent removal, welding, frame repairs, and component replacement.
• Prepare surfaces, mask areas, and protect non-painted parts.
• Mix and apply primers, sealers, basecoats, and clearcoats; operate spray equipment.
• Ensure color accuracy, texture, and finish quality through inspection.
• Document repairs and materials for billing and quality control.
• Communicate progress and timelines with customers and team.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to OSHA standards.
