Job summary

Cactus Wellhead is seeking an assembler/tester for its New Waverly, TX operations. The role involves assembling and testing all Cactus or customer products in a manufacturing environment, and adhering to strict safety and quality policies.

Candidate will inspect and test finished products, align components, verify clearances, and perform adjustments or repairs to ensure proper operation. Reading drawings and operating manuals is required; physical work with tools and equipment is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Quality System.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test all Cactus or customer products.
• Follow safety, quality, health and environmental policies.
• Inspect, operate and test completed products for conformance.
• Position and align components for assembly; use hoists if needed.
• Verify part clearances and fit.
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts to ensure proper operation.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals.
• Maintain and lubricate parts; use hand/power tools.
